Leaving Tumblr

So Tumblr just doesn't feel safe anymore. I mean, it was always difficult, but at least my blog was my blog. Now, I just don't feel safe and I don't want to be reminded of double standards and hyprocisy every time I go there. So I'll post writing things there, but I don't plan on going to my dashboard often, and won't really be liking or reblogging anything. Maybe someday, if it ever feels safe again, I'll go back. For now? No.

So I'm going to come here for a while, to post the things I sorta want to post, but don't expect anyone to read. Yay sorta therapy, I guess. I fully expect no one to read this, and will be using it mostly for musings, thoughts, and writings that don't quite fit anywhere else.

As it is, don't expect much in the way of anything exciting. I'm truly a boring person when you get right down to it.

NaNoWrimo

So I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year, and I'll be putting things here to motivate myself. My project is my Inquisitor!Dorian fic, Don't Worry, I'll Protect You. I really want to finish this fic, and I haven't worked on it because I've been overthinking and worrying about Tumblr. So... step back from Tumblr, and hopefully my writing brain comes back.

October goal in preparation: Finish the scene outline so I know what to power-write through. I think/hope it will be 20 chapters, but we'll see.

At any rate, here's to NaNoWriMo!
